169 Days A Spiritual Journey, is a true story of one man's lone journey through the unpredictable terrains of the vast Appalachian Mountain Range and the dark, Godless, shadow of addiction to drugs and alcohol. While telling the story of his adventures in 2006, the author reflects back to the savage years of his imprisonment to the unforgiving chemicals and his fierce determination to escape.

Much like the rigors of addiction and demands of withdrawal, the trek along the Appalachain Trail is potentially a life and death challenge. The journey in both situations is brutal and exhausting. Many people try, but few can summon the conviction, endurance, and single mindedness required to overcome the adversities of the journey.

The author takes you along on each unique, yet parallel spiritual journey to share his message of hope.
