I am an unknown author; therefore, I have no reviews. I'm an armature, so I'm not sure how to get critics, magazines, or newspapers to review 169 Days A Spiritual Journey. If anyone out there has, any advise I would appreciate it.
In the meantime, I'm going to post some comments from my precious readers.
I really can’t put your book down!!!! I’m home and I need to get my papers gathered for the IRS! However, I’m sitting up reading your book! If I’m late paying my taxes, I’ll blame you!
I just had to tell you that I am on page 92 and your book is so good. Some books I just read fast, but I don't want to miss a thing in yours so I am reading slowly! It is very intense and I can't believe that you did that! I would be terrified. I can see how this would have been a very spiritual adventure.
You are a hero too, Buzz. You conquered your addiction, went on to help others, spent 169 days on the trail, and wrote a magnificent memoir for all of us to follow along with you.
Once again, your journey was remarkable and I commend you for all you have done and gone through. By the grace of God and your determination you have, and will, make a resounding impact on many lives.
Buzz, your book is great! I love how you just seem to draw people in and we're hiking the trail with you...at least I was!
I just finished your book yesterday and that was an accomplishment. I have not read a book for many years except the Bible. I will say that it is a beautiful testimony to God's grace and mercy in your life and while that hike may be over your spiritual journey will continue. I found you to be realistic but transparent, which was encouraging.
I just finished reading a borrowed copy of your book. I need to tell you it is possibly the best book I have ever read.
I have finished your book and it just BLEW ME AWAY on so many levels. First, I have to say that how you have turned your life around is just incredible and I would imagine that it is a continuing struggle to maintain how far you have come. Then the sheer physical endurance of the thru-hike is just unbelievable. Those experiences that you had are unique. I cried at the end when you finally reached Katahdin.
It came out just beautifully.
